I left my house Thursday about 11 AM and drove to Dallas. I got there just as Artoni, DJW, and another person who was from the UK (cannot remember name, though I saw her all weekend) were heading out to go to lunch, so I joined them while the bell guys took my whole cart full of stuff inside   We ended up walking to the Founder's Grill and had a little lunch... I had a club with coleslaw which was pretty good.  When we got back we grabbed my cart full of stuff from the bell guys and went up, and I got to see the interior of the hotel and was like OwO.  After we got in the room, Botconimus, a Botcon newbie arrived, and so I started getting Rampage out of his box while artoni got some SurvivorCraft going.   We chilled like so, with Velocity and Mirai arriving sometime until I had to leave to go pick up Insane Galvatron from Love Field. I didn't get lost, which was nice. At the time I was gone is when they all went to a grocery store to go pick up noms for the weekend.  When I told IG, he called them and requested some Beddar Cheddars. Unfortunately, we didn't have a microwave like we thought so half the stuff we all picked up (hot dogs, hot pockets, popcorn) we didn't eat, or ate cold.   We had plenty of other stuff though, like trail mixes, crackers, bread, cheeses, butter, and Deceptipie.
Then we all got back in the hotel room and chilled some more (and everybody else showed up somewhere in here) And then I left with IG as my navigator to go pick up weirdwolf from DFW while the others went down to go line up for badges.  DFW WAS a big airport....geesh. And they charge for you to pick people up XD They are making bank!  And IG and weirdwolf were hungry, so we stopped at a McD's on the way back.  Once we made it back, we went ahead and got in line, and I got my Reaper Conduit costume on. Because I wanted to costume. XD  I saw kenyastarflight right off the bat in the line!
Otherwies, waiting in line was uneventful. Just had a conversation with WeirdWolf for a while.
And then we went back up afterwards and all the poor folks in the Club Store line were still stuck in that slow mess. :[ And so many of us were working on costumes and stuff, and we decorated Cally's banner for her booth (I did Rampage! ) And then we had an update on youtube and all was well.

Friday!

Started off the day with some food from the room (bread and butter that day, I think), before putting Brawl's helm on my head, and heading down to the con.  I took pictures while Mirai along with Emerald Beacon and others waiting in line to get WeirdWolf his Minicon badge.

Sometime during all that was the MSTF, which I partially sat in for (I kept leaving to meet up with like, Varia31, and others), and then the video contest.   Animated Swoop made her first appearance there, for us.

After that half of our room decided our group lunch eat out would be at Chipotle, so we went there.

When we were back, Mr. Ng got his son suited up as little Optimus and we all got to see him while people waited in line to get into the dealer hall.

Then I walked around the dealer hall with Botconimus, whom has gained this name because once we finally made it to the TFU booth his name was already taken...so that's the first thing that came to my mind, and now I have dubbed him, Botconimus!  Anyway, backing up a little, we meandered off to the left after getting in the dealer hall, and hung around Caly's for a little bit, where she had a huuuuge line.  I think she had less than half of her puggles left after friday... o-o From there we slunk over to the HMS booth as they started their first demo, and announced they were giving out different posters at each demo.   So then is when I decided I wanted to try and get them all.
Then we meandered over to the Genereations figures and sat and looked at them for half an hour. Then we went to the hasbro booth and spoke with some of the guys there.
Interesting thing, the guy we spoke to got on the topic of costuming because I was wearing brawl's helm. He said people had come up to them with offers to build full  elaborate costumes for hasbro, but at very high bids (lit. thousands, though I can't clearly remember if it was, I want to say, ~$20,000. O_O) all I remember is it WAS a big number, and he went on to say he'd much prefer to save that part of the budget for advertising or whatever, and just enjoy the fan costumes. And so, yeah, fun tidbit.
That's when we saw the caps and such and saw Megatron's FoC altmode for the first time – looks like the generic alien plane mode that movie 07, animated, and TFP megs all share, only he's more colorful (literally he's got RED on him! ).

And then we wandered the rest of the dealer hall real quick and checked out prices on some of the toys we were looking for. I should've grabbed the HA Soundwave I saw then for $75, but was hoping he'd be cheaper on Sunday.
Then the dealer hall closed and we went back to the room for a while and chilled before going down to the bar sort of early (we thought the seibertron/tfw meetup was at 7 XD) and we had fun, talking, playing minecraft, etc until we all parted our ways. Artoni got to spend an hour talking to furman, and botconimus and I sort of chilled nearby, going over information I had gleaned from watching the foc demo that day to prepare for the loooong youtube review later that night. And then we all did that and we fixed up our costumes all back in the room before going to sleep...i think... oh no! Botconimus, weirdwolf and I went exploring the hotel! and took pictures of the reunion tower (a.k.a. Vector Sigma ahahahaaa)

Saturday!

I spent almost all day in Rampage, so it was sort of uneventful, XD
We all got up sort of early in our room, Mirai got suited up as Breakdown, and I hopped around in Rampage minutes later. We all went down, and I didn't see Breakdown again until I got Knockout to come chill with me by Caly's booth again.  Then Breakdown came, and TFA Prowl, and Blitzwing, and Movie bumblebee, whom I loved to have photo ops with. I hope I can find some of them when I was strangling him with my whips.
ahahaha, well we all stayed and photo opped there for about half an hour I guess, before we headed to the TFA panel and we all took a break there and some ate. DJW's panel was cute especially when the kids got to ask questions! D'awww!
After that, Greyley and weirdwolf helped me get Rampage off because they thought he as broken. It wasn't too bad, but while he was off I was starving so we ran up to the room to eat. Then I got Rampage back on, and realized he wasn't on properly during the morning shift XD well, we had him on right for the afternoon, but unfortunately not many photos were taken then. so it bothers me now when I see pictures and im like I'M NOT WEARING HIM RIGHT AGHHHghg. Lol.
And then the dealer hall closed and we all ended up in the room for a bit before the hall of fame.
We all went down and enjoyed the event, and much screaming occurred when shockwave was shown in prime, and we tried to figure out where/when the scene was to occur in the show.
Then after dinner, which was nice with the bread, veggies, and chicken, water and tea (and cheeeeeesecake! With great paint apps and custom strawberries! XD), we all sort of split up. I met up with weirdwolf again, and Varia 31, and we went outside for a bit, and the weather was so nice.  Then we went back in, and I found mirai, velocity, emerald beacon, guard convoy, and more people at a blackjack table and hung out there until the night ended.  Others came over too, like the TFWWTF crew, DJW, and others over time. The last game was a lot of fun to watch, but I didn't stick around for the auction, which was sort of depressing. I just heard the winners of the contests (all but the costumes) and then left with folks.  And then youtube video updates!

Sunday!
Sunday was really calm. I took many more photos, especially of the SDCC Bruticus, which I'm very much looking forward to!   Then many panels were attended (FoC, TFU, costuming), and much escourting of Mirai in breakdown again (brave, brave woman!). I also picked up a HA Soundwave for $85 as that was the lowest I could find then – some were going for $115 O_O  I also bought from emerald beacon a painted red nerf sword for $5 for a possible future SG drift cosplay
The Club took their pics of TFA Swoop, Blitzwing, and Breakdown for the next cover of the mag, and once the con was over, we chilled in the room for a bit, before all collecting together for a big dinner where the Captured Prey guys invited us to. KenyaStarflight wanted to meet up, so this worked out well. We all went to Hoffbrau's (across the street from chipotle) and had a nice, long dinner after botcon.

Then Mirai and others who were inclined went down to the bar, originally intending to play Bot Shots Shots (bot shots drinking game), but when that became unavailable, they just went down to the bar. The other half of our room stayed up in the room , some went to sleep, some were off in the side room conversing with DJW, and the rest of us – Botconimus, IG, Weirdwolf, Emerald Beacon and myself stayed up in the main room and played Bot Shots Sugar Shots! With pixie sticks and soda. Buahahaa. XDD

got one of those kreo sets (mirage) and the rescue bots books, which we wanted to do a reading of on camera, but it was not meant to be.
And thanks to our various roomates I got most of the foc demo posters over the weekend. I think I'm just missing a starscream one :/

And monday we ate the deceptipie and packed up and parted ways.
