Blackout cosplay: As you may have noticed, one picture is up. Unfortunately, I can't really take pictures outside (which is what I was hoping for), until Saturday morning. It's just too hot in the evenings, and noone else is home weekday mornings. I do have more pictures, but I thought I'd keep you waiting. I do plan on post WIPs pictures to my scraps, if you like.
I did end up putting one tiny decepticon logo on my costume - on the chest piece, similar to the toy. it's a sort of reddish-purple. And I think Skorponok is techinically that kibble on my bck (u'll see). sort of interesting tidbit.

Movie: It was awesome. Ok, if you haven't seen Revenge of the Fallen and/or prefer not to hear/talk about it, leave now.

My only dislike of this film (and really the last film too): the vulgarity. Really, it's inappropriate. It's not funny (though the theater laughed ). That's it. The rest I can live with.

why is rampage's toy yellow if he's red in the movie? (I like both scheme's btw, just confused) [and why is the "jackhammer mode" on the toy the gimmick mode - if that's the only one he uses in the film? I wouldn't have known that wasn't his robot mode unless his toy stated otherwise :rollseyes:]
Why are there constructicons running around while Devastator is merged and off somewhere else - it's not like this is G1 and you can almost get away with it. I'm hoping watching the BD will solve this paradox though.

I was surprised when I got to the theater about 45 minutes before the first showing today- there were only about thirty of us waiting outside the doors, though, apparently about five of them had been there about 2+ hours before me . one guy had a hat "I am Optimus Prime" and another a shirt with the OP G1 truck cab on the front...I saw a picture of somebody at BotCon wearing that shirt...forgot to ask that group if they went though...
but, when i left the theater (two and a half hours later...) there was a VERY long line going out the doors for TF. the people here get up late, as my mom reminded me...

the twins were nice! (again, besides the vulgarity) i was so happy the red one (that's Mudflap right? I can never remember which is which....even though they're very different) didn't die after getting sucked up. I was very happy for him.

WHY WAS ALL OF SIDEWAYS' FOOAGE RELEASED IN TRAILERS? Srsly. every frame he's in the film is practically in the the commercials. lawl. i felt bad for him...and he's playable inthe game....
speaking of the game - my preordered one (the one that got me the free ticket to see this movie!)

SHOULD BE HERE TOMORROW. YEY. I wasn't expecting it till monday - and i was hoping for friday - but yay!.

bee did well. the twins did well, even though they're clutzes, lol. sideswipe was cool, but i feel like he could have had a tiny bit more screen/battle time, especially in egypt. poor ravage. i don't feel he was used at all to his full potential...he was mostly sidekick... aw, well.
screamer's totally different this time around - what, NOW he gets a screechy voice and penchant for being right behind megs? lawl. id rather he just stay in his poorly established movieverse character. watching megs get some stress out of him was resfreshing in an odd way though...poor screamer...

not telling us about what happened with all the robots after the last movie - NOT AWESOME. what happened to all the activated 'bots? how many were activated? do they just hide in the shadows?

I got a RiD vibe with this movie - sort of like we just followed Prime's group being dispatched everywhere, and like there are other groups that we don't know about. hope so.(because that fits my fanfiction...)


also not awesome - the stock robots. so, what, all protoforms look like blackout with out kibble, but with little spikes coming out of their backs (and one extra finger - three instead of two)? and there were 7 primes - and they are all egyptian looking (fallen...)? and the twins just randomly come home and scan new modes? did i miss something?

Bee, why did you let Alice open you're door if you're just going to mess with the Pretender? I thought they did a good job with the skin/robot transition btw. very nice job. tongue was pretty creepy though. What's that's robots name anyways? Anybody know?

why pods Bay? why PODS? You had the ALLSPARK. you could make robots at any time out of anything, but instead you choose to make ROBOT BABIES IN PODS. it's worse than femmes, and propogates theirt existance!
(I don't believe in femmes in the traditional sense. robots don't have a gender. we call them he/she out of convenience and in reference to their personality leanings or preferences. in fact, I have an "it" character that leans both ways...)
so...robots don't make more baby robots via podding! they build or find something built and allspark is the life! it wouldn't be a problem if the allspark didn't exist. but i think this should make as much sense as possible - which means no contradictions!

i don't know if ill ever change the mood on this journal
